The multi BAFTA nominated game, published by 505 Games, was critically praised for its use of music, which was recorded with The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

in 2017, Lyndon was awarded the BAFTA for Music in a Video Game for his work on Virginia.

BAFTA Win!

April 10, 2017

I just a won a BAFTA. I definitely still haven't processed the surreality of this situation. What an incredible honour. Thank you to everyone at BAFTA that nominated Virginia for Best Music. I never in my life thought I would ever win one of these iconic awards!

Virginia wins UK Writers Guild Award

January 23, 2017

It's a great honour to say that Jonathan Burroughs, Terry Kenny and myself have received the Writers Guild award for Best Writing in a Video Game for Virginia. It was such a privilege to even be nominated in this category alongside FiFA 17 and Fragments of Him, but to walk away with the award was something else, especially considering Virginia has no dialogue!

Virginia has almost been nominated for 4 IGF Awards, including Audio, which I am super excited about. The awards are held in early March this year.

Virginia released

September 21, 2016

After about two and a half years of working with Variable State, Virginia has finally shipped on PS4, Xbox One and Steam. It's been a long journey, but I am now glad to part ways with it and send it into the hands of the public. I hope people get as much enjoyment out of playing the game and listening to the music as much as I enjoyed working on it.
